- Now take little oil on your palm so that mixture doesn’t stick on hand while making donuts out of it.
- Take small portions. Roll it on your palm and give it a cutlet shape. You can fry it like that also but since we are making donuts we will give it a donut shape. Just take a lid or round cap of small bottle and press in the middle to take out that portion making it a 🍩 shape. If you don’t have any proper cap that you can simply do it with your finger by making a hole in the center.
- Prepare coating for donuts. Take a bowl and add one egg, salt and milk to it. Blend properly. In a flat plate take bread crumbs (you can buy from the market or simply make it at home by grinding dry bread in a grinder. You can grind fresh bread as well. Just don’t add any water)
- Now take the donuts and first dip it in the egg mixture and then with the other hand put it in the bread crumbs and coat it well. At this stage you can even freeze the donuts and easily use for 3 weeks. Put it in the freezer and when it becomes solid you can put it in a zip lock bag or air tight container.
- Take a frying pan and add oil to it. Heat it nicely on medium flame. When it turns hot simply add donuts to it one by one and fry it. After putting the donuts in oil turn the flame to low heat as we have to cook the donuts nicely till inside.
- Cook it on a low flame for around 7 to 8 mins. Keep turning the sides of the donut in between so that all sides are cooked properly. After 7 to 8 mins bring the flame to high again for 2 mins so that the outer layer of the donuts turns crispy.
- Take it out on absorbent paper and the super quick and tasty donuts are ready to be served. Ketchup goes well with this.
