  2. Take 1 onion soup mix sachet
  3. Make ready 330 ml beer
  4. Prepare 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  5. Get 1 large onion, peeled and cut
  6. Take 2 garlic cloves, peeled and roughly cut
  7. Get Olive oil or margarine (as you like)
  8. Make ready Chilli flakes to taste (optional)
  9. Take Fresh coriander or dried parsley
  10. Prepare to taste Salt
Instructions to make Roasted Beer Chicken:
  1. Preheat oven to 220c.
  2. Using a large casserole dish with a lid add all the ingredients expect for the coriander as that's only for sprinkling at the end.
  3. Transfer dish to oven and cook for 60-70 minutes. Stick a fork in a potato to see if its soft, if so it's cooked and you can remove it from oven. To be honest I never really did keep track of the time but normally takes about an hour for chicken to cook.
  4. To serve sprinkle with the chopped coriander or dried parsley.
