The ingredients needed to make Chops chutney:

  2. Take Best end and loin chops
  3. Take BBQ & masala marinade from United Butchery or use what you have
  4. Take Tomato chutney
  5. Prepare 1 onion, chopped
  6. Get Oil
  7. Make ready 1/2 tsp jeera or cumin seeds
  8. Prepare leaves Curry
  9. Prepare 2 garlic cloves, sliced
  10. Make ready 2 green chillies, chopped (adjust according to your preference)
  11. Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric
  12. Prepare 1.5 tsp chilli powder
  13. Make ready 1 tsp coriander powder
  14. Make ready 1/2 tsp cumin or jeera powder
  15. Make ready 1/2 tsp salt
  16. Take 2 tsp tomato paste
  17. Get 1 tomato, chopped
  18. Prepare 1/4 can tomato and onion mix
  19. Prepare Water

Steps to make Chops chutney:
  1. Marinate prawns in BBQ and masala marinade. It already has salt and meat tenderiser so no need to add anything else
  2. Put in a pan with water and let it cook - No need to add oil as it will fry in it's own fat - Cook it till meat gets soft and it's fried nicely
  3. Make the tomato chutney in another pan
  4. Sautee one chopped onion in a little oil with 1/2 tsp jeera seeds. Add curry leaves, 2 sliced garlic cloves and 2 chopped green chillis (add less or more depending on how spicy you want it, 2 was a medium heat). Let it get golden brown.
  5. Add the 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1.5 tsp chilli powder (add only 1/2-1 tsp if you don't want it too spicy),1 tsp coriander powder,1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp salt and 2 tsp tomato paste. Add more oil if necessary.
  6. Add one chopped tomato and 1/4 can tomato and onion mix - Add a little water. Close the lid and let it simmer.
  7. At this point you can let it continue cooking or blend it. I blended it till smooth and put it back in the tomato chutney pan with a little more water, closed the lid and let it simmer
  8. Add the tomato chutney to the chops pan and let it simmer and come together. There should be a nice gravy.
  9. If you want a less oily, less fatty version then add the chops to the chutney and add a little bit of the fat from the chops (that's what makes it really tasty).
  10. Garnish with coriander and serve with roti or fresh white bread
